Terms of Service

These terms describe the rules and responsibilities that apply when you use SetMetric.
Effective September 25, 2026

1. Acceptance, Eligibility, and Accounts

By creating an account or using SetMetric, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use SetMetric.
Keep your account information accurate, protect your password, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized use. You may not use another person's account without permission.

2. What SetMetric Is

SetMetric is a trading journal and analytics application. It is not a broker, does not execute trades, and does not provide brokerage services or investment advice.
SetMetric does not promise profits, performance, or any trading result. Its calculations, reports, and analytics are review tools. You remain responsible for your trading and financial decisions.
Metric's AI analyses are generated by an AI model from SetMetric's calculations. They are interpretive, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not financial or investment advice.
Metric answers reflect the SetMetric data available when they were given. Saved answers are historical snapshots: reopening one does not recalculate it, so it may not reflect later changes to your trades or journal. Review Metric's interpretations against your own records.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

SetMetric offers a Free plan and monthly or annual Premium subscriptions. Current prices and features are shown before purchase, and Stripe processes payments.
Premium renews for the selected billing period until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewal, while Premium access continues through the paid period. Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

4. Your Content

You keep ownership of your records, notes, images, and other content. You give SetMetric permission to process and display it only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
You must have the right to use your content. You are responsible for backups and for anything you include in or distribute through a Share Snapshot.

5. Acceptable Use

Do not break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload unlawful or malicious content.

Do not bypass access controls, plan limits, security measures, or usage restrictions.

Do not disrupt or probe the service without authorization, introduce malware, or place an unreasonable load on it.

Do not present SetMetric as a broker, trade-execution service, or source of guaranteed results.

6. SetMetric Property

SetMetric's software, design, branding, documentation, and service content—excluding your content—belong to SetMetric or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as intended.

7. Availability, Disclaimers, and Liability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features or availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent access.
To the extent permitted by law, SetMetric is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness, non-infringement, or trading results.
To the extent permitted by law, SetMetric is not liable for indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages, trading losses, lost profits, data loss, or business loss. Liability that cannot lawfully be limited remains unaffected.

8. Suspension, Termination, and Changes

We may restrict or suspend access to protect SetMetric or others, investigate misuse, enforce these Terms, or meet applicable obligations. Stopping use does not automatically delete all account or service records.
We may update these Terms and will post a revised effective date. Continued use after they take effect means acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
